A few months ago I discovered a walking tour company specialising in chocolate tours around London and Brighton. I’m always looking for interesting and different things to do around London so I was keen to do the Chelsea Chocolate Ecstasy tour as it’s in a part of London that we don’t visit very often. This 3 to 3,5 hour walking tour covers part of Chelsea, Knightsbridge and Belgravia and is also great for people who dislike crowds. It’s perfect for tourists that have visited London a few times and would like to discover new areas.
The plan was to visit 4 top quality chocolatiers on this walking tour. It started off with a sitting at a shop in Belgravia with another couple and our guide Carmen. She then gave us an introduction to chocolate and started the chocolate tasting journey. It was very interesting to taste the different chocolates and learn what we liked and disliked. After about an hour we then proceeded on a leisurely stroll to the next 3 boutiques to taste their chocolates. The walk is only about 2km so it’s nothing strenuous. We also got to try some absolutely amazing macarons at one of the beautiful boutiques and learnt a few facts about the areas where we walked.
By the end of the tour we were absolutely chocolate-ed out as promised by our guide. I would definitely recommend this walking tour if you’re a chocoholic or are you looking for a fun and tasty way to discover London. Check out their website for more details: http://www.chocolateecstasytours.com
